The Indianapolis District Dental Society is a professional organization that represents dentists in the Indianapolis area. It is a local chapter of the IDA & ADA, and advocates for the interests and needs of dental professionals in the region. The IDDS also aims to promote high standards of dental care, professional development, and community engagement. Through CE, networking events, and community outreach initiatives, the IDDS strives to enhance the oral health of its community while fostering a supportive & collaborative environment.

The IDDS Foundation was created by the board of directors in 2001 and is dedicated to enhancing the oral health of the community through education, research, and maximizing access to care with the support of professionals, corporations, and individuals.

It hosts an annual golf outing and biannual wine-tasting event to raise money towards these efforts.
