Midwest Dental Assembly ‘23

The Midwest Dental Assembly is the annual session for the Indiana Dental Association. This year it was held in downtown Indianapolis, and attendees had the opportunity to learn from leaders in a variety of areas regarding products, treatment planning, technology, services, and even business acumen. This diverse exhibit hall plays a vital role in promoting the exchange of knowledge, professional development, and innovation in the dental industry.

The annual session also marks the transition to new leadership within the Indiana Dental Association. This year, Dr. Jill Burns (IDA President ‘22-23) passed the torch onto Dr. Tom Blake (IDA President ‘23-24) from the Isaac Knapp District Dental society. The general assembly comprised of trustees, other ranks, and IU ASDA trustees (Chase Perkins & Vishnu Vaid) also met to vote on important advocacy initiatives and policies currently shaping the trajectory of dentistry in Indiana.
